Questions
Pick it up by the crown, not the root. Rinse gently, try to place it back in the socket or keep it in milk, and call us immediately — time matters.
Go to the emergency room for facial swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, or a jaw injury. For most toothaches and broken teeth, call us first.
Over-the-counter pain relievers as directed and a cold compress on the cheek can help. Avoid placing aspirin directly on the gums.
